As our annual internship programme concludes, we're celebrating 13 fabulously interesting and productive projects. These are the stars of our future!

Each year we run a three month paid internship programme between June and September. This is an excellent opportunity to gain relevant work experience through joining a dynamic, innovative team developing industry-leading medical imaging solutions. The work is fast paced and intellectually stimulating.

Internships are typically available in Software Engineering or Radiography. Further details about the types of internships we offer are below.

Software Engineering, Imaging Science and Machine Learning

A number of positions are available, working within diverse project teams across the R&D division.

Topics typically cover areas such as:

  • Application development
  • Software infrastructure
  • Image Analysis
  • Visualization and rendering
  • Artificial Intelligence

Radiography

The internship focuses on the identification of anatomical structures in medical imaging scans. The output will be used as an input to the development and validation of advanced image processing algorithms. In addition to an excellent academic record, sound knowledge in medical imaging and human anatomy is also beneficial.

Applications are welcomed from undergraduates in the latter stages of their study and on course to achieve 2:1 or higher
